CAREER
Thirty years of building at the frontier.
What follows is not a list of job titles. It is a record of what was built, what was changed, and what was left behind.
EV infrastructure & energy transition — 2017 to present
Sales Manager Nordics
Nordic responsibility for large-scale EV charging programmes and CPO tenders, with broader European involvement across the UK, Benelux, Spain and the Baltics. Working with motorway service operators, national CPOs and energy majors on complex high-power charging rollouts — from site assessment and power architecture through to EPC coordination and grid connection strategy. Specialised in grid-constrained sites, including BESS-integrated configurations and phased capacity approaches.
Board Adviser, Bus & Heavy-Duty Charging
Joined at concept stage to help build practical charging solutions for electric buses and heavy-duty fleets. EV Mobile develops battery-buffered high-power charging as a service, enabling MW-scale charging at grid-constrained sites without heavy network investment. Contributing strategic and technical input on product positioning, use-case development and deployment approach.
Bus Fleet Director
Recruited to a newly created role following a major cross-border acquisition to lead electrification strategy, fleet development and procurement across a combined Nordic bus fleet of approximately 1,200 vehicles. Responsible for a flagship Helsinki depot with 150+ electric buses, 15 MW of combined charging power and a 12 MVA medium-voltage grid connection — one of the largest electric bus charging installations in the Nordics. Oversaw ten electric bus depots across Finland and Sweden. Led grid-capacity analysis up to HV substation level, including evaluation of a 110 kV substation investment of approximately €2M CAPEX. Directly responsible for bus OEM relationships and fleet procurement with Yutong, VDL, Scania, Solaris and Ebusco.
15 MW depot · 12 MVA grid connection · 10 depots across Finland & Sweden
Non-Executive Director & Board Member
Invited to join the board of Trojan Energy as NED, bringing practical EV infrastructure experience and international market insight to support the company’s growth phase. Trojan Energy developed patented flat-and-flush on-street EV charging technology — a genuinely innovative solution for the nine million UK households without off-street parking, deploying up to fifteen chargepoints per street from a single grid connection. Contributed board-level perspective on commercial strategy, market development and international expansion.
Sales Director, EV Charging & Energy Systems
Designed and delivered electric bus depot charging systems across five Finnish cities — Tampere, Lahti, Turku, Helsinki and Oulu. Led charging system design for major international tenders including Milan and Turin, covering multi-depot layouts, constrained-grid solutions and BESS-enabled architectures. Negotiated LV and MV grid connections directly with DSOs on behalf of bus operators. Also supported turnkey electrification tenders in Norway, Sweden and Iceland.
CEO / COO / VP Sales; MD Parking Energy UK
Led commercial growth of the world’s first intelligent EV charger designed as a drop-in replacement for Finland’s engine heater socket infrastructure. Won three Innovate UK projects; co-developed wireless EV charging with IHI Japan (live pilot Nottingham, demonstration Yokohama).
🏆 WWF Climate Solver Nordic Award 2018
International development & renewable energy — 2008 to 2013
Technology Director & Adviser, Western Africa
Five years of work across three interconnected programmes in Western Africa, operating at government, commercial and community level simultaneously.
New ERA Partners — Lagos State strategic consultancy
Co-authored strategic consultancy engagements with Lagos State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria across several major programmes:
- NewLAWMA — Co-developed a comprehensive analysis and strategic model for restructuring Lagos State’s waste collection, recycling and resource recovery system over a 25-year horizon. Drawing on over 430 sources, the model demonstrated that the existing approach would cost Lagos State $2.4 billion by 2020, while an alternative wealth-from-waste model could generate a surplus of over $8 billion over the same period — an $11 billion improvement — through composting, material recovery and energy from waste. The programme covered implementation goals, transformation monitoring frameworks, legal and regulatory reform, and behaviour change programmes.
- LASEPA — Contributed to the full organisational baseline of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency using the Burke-Litwin change model, and helped develop recommendations for environmental law reform and agency restructuring.
- LASAA — Co-developed a 10-year turnaround strategy for the Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency.
- Federal Government of Nigeria — Contributed to a 10-year national power generation masterplan.
- Mayflower Foundation — Helped research and design 20 CSR programmes to revitalise the Ebute-Metta district of Lagos, improving the lives of approximately half a million residents.
New ERA Energy — renewable energy systems, Northern Nigeria
Acted as Technology Director and Partnerships Director for New ERA Energy, a specialist renewable energy company operating across Kano, Jigawa and Abuja States. Designed, sourced and delivered smart grid-based integrated solutions combining solar and wind power generation with energy-efficient water pumping and lighting — providing clean water and electricity to villages, schools, clinics and commercial farms across Northern Nigeria. Exclusive distributor for market-leading wind turbine manufacturers including Southwest Windpower, Kestrel Eveready and Gaia Wind across Nigeria and Western Africa.
New ERA Farms — integrated farming model
Developed a full commercial proposal and system design for a self-sufficient 100-hectare integrated farming operation for Sub-Saharan Africa, incorporating renewable energy generation, water management, livestock, composting, crop rotation and market development — modelled with complete agricultural, meteorological and economic data.
International business development — 2004 to 2017

A trusted bridge between Finnish technology innovators and international commercial markets for thirteen years.
Enterprise networking & broadband — 1993 to 2001
